I am so excited! This is Karen from Wellness Works NW and it is almost time for my Seahawks to play! Go Hawks!

This is something to look forward to after a year of challenges. Our first game is going to be against the Atlanta Falcons. Because of COVID-19 there will be people there in the stands, just the players, so they can keep people safe. So we have those changes but we are also trying to figure out who is going to play.

In case you didn’t know, I love my Seahawks! I am so excited, I could just scream!

So check it out! We need 53 guys; that is what we need to play. We have to narrow things down and so as an end result we are going to lose some good players. A team is a family, so they are going to feel it. The brothers, Shaquem and Shaquill Griffin, are going to be separated. Shaquill is staying but Shaquem is going. They loved playing on the same team, but Shaquem is going to be cheering his brother on. Now Josh Gordon, has had some difficulties that are personal and drug related, but he is keeping his head together and making it happen, so we know he is going to do well. Pete Carroll is not worried at all.

Pete makes me very happy because he is like 64 and if I can just keep my brain together…He inspires me. We are going to Super Bowl! (Pete is actually 68! Wow! Keep rockin’ Pete!)

There is something about knowing that we are playing again that makes me so excited. Of course, I might disappear that Sunday, and people might be wondering where I am…but don’t worry! I will be back. I love to watch my game and I have been told that I make up words that aren’t so pretty…but we won’t go over that. I know that a lot of other people look forward to watching the game too. It really gives us something to look forward to, which is like a jumpstart that I really think we need right now. I just know that Sunday we are going to kick some butt!

Even though we have all kinds of changes, it gives us hope. Just like when you start your Wellness Program you need that hope. That hope is priceless and I want to give you that hope. I know when clients come in they start to see the pounds coming off, they start to have more energy and they start to be able to take on more weight. Yes! And hope is alive.

We have to keep that hope alive! Don’t even worry about it. Ok? If you need a little bit of help please give me a call at 360-447-8061 or email me at karen@wellnessworksnw.com. Let’s talk about what you are going through and what you think you might want to do and how excited you are about your plan. I have a plan for my Seahawks going all the way! You should be excited about the different things that you are doing to make your life better because when you make your life better, you make the lives of all those people you love better too.

Speaking of making things better, its time to exercise. I have a 5 lb kettle weight here because you want a little resistance. You want to swing it up and on the up, you want to pop your hips up and squeeze your glutes and abs. You can switch it up by bringing the weight up over your head and down towards your hip. Take your time. Exercise does not have to be a 5K. I got a lot of hope for you! The Seahawks are going to go all the way. I am sending you wonderful, positive prayers and positive vibes.
