Barb Berg, Chomping at the BitBarb Berg is a contributor to Wellness Works NW and writer of Celiac Living. Barb is from Ellensburg, Washington and now resides in the Kelso, Washington area with her husband and adult children. She lives an active life that includes her family and her horses and working with Cowlitz AmeriCorps.

Barb lives with Celiac Disease, a hereditary autoimmune disorder, that causes damage to the lower intestine from eating foods with gluten in it. Gluten is a protein found in wheat, barley and rye. In 2016 she also underwent knee replacement surgery. Both of these experiences has caused her to make many changes to her life.

Barb’s goal in writing Chomping at the Bit is to encourage people to live and thrive on their path toward wellness.
